Jumpstart: Comms Support for Emerging Nonprofit Leaders
2025 is going to require new ideas, but we keep hearing from the same people.
Many CEOs, Executive Directors, or Presidents in the “C-suite” have access to communications support to share their perspectives, but emerging leaders (Directors, VPs, Managers)--who work just as closely to their organization's mission–have untapped insights and valuable lived experience.
Maybe you’ve attended a panel at a conference and thought, “something’s missing here”, or you are ready to share what you’ve learned about your issue, but aren’t sure how.
This January, I am experimenting with a new offering, called Jumpstart*. It’s 1:1 personalized communications coaching for emerging nonprofit leaders to establish a foundation of knowledge, story, and passion in order to work towards a clear professional goal–joining a panel at a conference, being a guest on a podcast, publishing a LinkedIn article, or maybe delivering a compelling presentation at a TEDx near you. As a result, we increase the diversity of voices in the mix and bring new ideas and solutions to our communities.
My goal is to “jumpstart” folks who want help and accountability to build thought leadership and grow their communication skills. This process isn’t just about getting ready for “The Thing” (event, speech, presentation)—it’s about finding out what you have to say and having more impact.
*Only because “Defibrillate Your Public Speaking” sounded less…punchy.
What does it cost?
2025 pricing is $500 for the steps laid out above, including a 30 min consult, 1 hr practice session, and notes on your presentation for optimal audience engagement.
